The pandemic suddenly forced us to stop seeing almost all of our faces. Even when we started to do something similar to the previous life, the masks were imposed in our concerts, in our birthday parties, anniversaries, in the moments that we wanted to remember for a lifetime. There were even people we met with a mask and we never saw them without it. It was as if the dystopian future that we sometimes saw in novels, movies or video games became present. We got so used to not seeing ourselves that, when we took off our masks, we were afraid of what we would see and what they would see in us.

But now the disease, death, has become almost pornographic with a daily and precise account of positives, deceased, bodies accumulated in hospitals. We suddenly remember that Eros always lives with Thanatos.
